Space Triology 2-Evan Shively

One of the things I find extremely interesting about the novels that Lewis writes is the way he inserts his friends and fellow inklings into his novels. It was cool to try and get a picture of Tolkien throughout the space trilogy. I tried to mimic Lewis when I wrote my Narnia story implementing my friends into the novels. For the bear character I used my roommate Josh, who is quite a lazy slob. I wonder if Lewis was thinking of a lazy friend when he made the Narnian bears. It certainly makes writing as well as reading more entertaining. It also adds increased depth to the characters.
