Christian Holmes- General Topic 3

I find the connection between myth, and the act of eating in communicating and discussing philosophy very cool. As we in the class reflect the practice of the Inklings (eating, drinking, and discussing together) we also personify the role of myth in epistemology. As myth attempts to branch theoretical reasoning and physical experiential knowledge, so are we linking the physical elements of food and drink with the rational and subsequently spiritual elements of theoretical discussion. With this in mind, the philosopher can see how the epistemological role of myth and story telling has real life and physical implications and examples. Myth is not just another idea, it is a reality that can be carried out.
