I have to admit that this series was my least favorite of the books that we read this semester. I really loved the first book, Out of The Silent Planet, but the other two were not my favorite. I loved the first book when Ransom was living with the hrossa. I just wanted him to stay there forever and grow old with the lovable creatures. I hated that Weston and Devine killed Hyoi and that Ransom had to leave behind the tribe to go talk to Oyarsa. I wish Ransom could have just stayed on Malacandra and never left. I think my love for the planet Malacandra is why is did not like the other books. Perelandra was hard to get into and I was anxious because I thought Ransom was going to drown in all the water when he first arrived on the planet. The only thing about Perlandra I liked was that Weston was killed, because I thought he was a terrible human being. The last book of the series, That Hideous Strength, was just too hard to get into and I did not think that it really flowed with the story of the first two. I wish Lewis had just stopped writing the series after the first book.
