Sean Dorsey – Narnia Entry 2 - Mythology in Narnia

Did Narnia have mythology or just history? I feel as though Narnia itself was more along the lines of the ‘paradise’ state described in Perelandra despite the existence of evil creatures within the world. Perhaps it was just not explored very much or perhaps I am overlooking descriptions of Narnian history but for the most part it seems as though the books are the living myth themselves. I wonder if it feels different to the participants, which raises the question about how people in our world that lived in ‘myth’ felt about it or if they felt differently at the time at all. I guess I’m still working towards a distinguishing between myth and history and whether both can be true or only one, etc. Anyone have thoughts on the matter?
