Kyle Cummings - Narnia #1

In my Narnia story I mentioned how my man character, Thomas, has an insatiable desire to climb trees and how Aslan later on, told Thomas that he was not yet ready to dwell in Narnia permanently. I got this idea from a chapter in The Magician's Nephew where Digory is sent to get an apple from a far away garden but is told not to eat it. Aslan says later on that "[although the fruit is good,] those who pluck and eat fruits at the wrong time and in the wrong way... [will] loathe it ever after." Some things in life can be had at any time if a person desires it, but later on it will not be worth having. After having it in a way that is not the way it is meant to be had will not fulfill the desire.
