Lost Tapes (myth)
I love to watch really bad syfy shows. One of my favorites is the animal planet show lost tapes in which they dramatize the possibility of mythical creatures being real. Using ridiculous story elements and hilarious charters they conceptualize encounters with these creatures in their excursions. They play on great mythical creatures from vampires to skin-walkers. I kept thinking of my class while watching it recently. These mythical creatures are created by all cultures out of their wonder of the unknown. These creatures operate according to our logic whoever they are also supernatural. Furthermore, people explain the seemingly inexplicable phenomena through the creation of these mythical creatures. I think these mythical creatures get to the heart of what the inklings are talking about. It is definitely a good thing that we still have these myths around today. While we have lost much of the mystery surrounding nature in the modern world people are still fascinated by these myths.
